Kluber Kluberysynth BMQ 72-162 500g tube is a synthetic long-term lubricating grease formulated of ester oils and perfluorinated polyether oil. Klubersynth BMQ 72-162 offers good oil retention at high temperatures, good corrosion protection and water resistance.
Klubersynth BMQ 72-162 is usually used for plain and rolling bearings being used at both high and low temperatures that require good thermal stability and the use of silicone is not allowed.
This lubricant has been successful in the lifetime lubrication of rolling bearings in electric motors and clutch release bearings. It is also suitable for bearings with a rotating outer ring subject to high thermal loads due it it’s good oil retention.
When applying Klubersynth BMQ 72-162 it is not necessary to remove the anti corrosive film in rolling bearings prior to application and the lubricant can be removed using organic solvents. In order to get the maximum service life and lowest noise level it is recommended to clean the friction point.
