Klubersynth GE 44 50 is a synthetic long-term grease designed for lubricating high-precision gears. It is formulated with a synthetic hydrocarbon oil and a special lithium soap thickener, combined with a special liquid-molybdenum additive that is free of solid matter.
This high-performance grease provides high scuffing protection, including under shock loads, while offering excellent wear protection in gears and rolling bearing contacts. Its exceptionally low breakaway torque, including at low temperatures, can help reduce energy consumption, while its low base oil viscosity promotes efficient lubricant flow to the friction point and helps extend component life.
It also offers carefully designed seal compatibility to help protect against leakage throughout the gearbox life. The Klubersynth GE-44 series has been tested for compatibility with elastomers including NBR and FKM. However, compatibility should be checked before series application due to the wide variety of elastomers available.
