Klubertemp HM 83-271 is a grease which can be used at high temperatures, which is manufactured for the long-term lubrication of rolling bearings. Used for maintenance intervals, it suitable for an upper operating temperature of 240°C (464°F).
Based on a PTFE thickener and perfluorinated polyether oil, this make Klubertemp HM 83/271 have a good resistance to churning. Due to including some special additives, it also has good corrosion protection properties, as well as allowing for long lubrication intervals.
You’ll often find Klubertemp HM 83-271 used in gas fittings and actuators which require a temperature range of up to 160°C and it is approved by DIN EN 377, category E. Klubertemp HM 83 271 is also used in oven bearings, heated calendars and transport chains, especially used in the start-up process where heat isn’t present.
