Description
WOLFRACOAT C Spray is a grey high-temperature lubricating paste containing metal solid lubricant pigments, which is manufactured as an assembly paste to lubricate power-locking connections and low-speed plain bearings. Used to counteract excessive friction, wear, and seizing at lubricating points subject to high loads, it is suitable for a service temperature ranging from -30°C to 1200°C.
Based on a silicate thickener and synthetic hydrocarbon oil, this makes WOLFRACOAT C Spray form a thermally stable lubricating film. Due to including metal solid lubricant pigments such as copper and graphite, it allows solid lubricants to remain in the friction points at temperatures above 200°C, protecting against tribocorrosion and fretting.
You’ll often find WOLFRACOAT-C-Spray used in power plants, the steel industry, cement manufacture, and similar industrial areas. Prior to initial lubrication, all friction points should be cleaned thoroughly, and the spray should be applied in an even, thin, and extensive layer.
WOLFRACOAT C Spray is also used for reliable lubrication under mixed-friction conditions.
Key Benefits For Your Application
Easier Assembly and Disassembly
WOLFRACOAT C Spray greatly facilitates the assembly and disassembly of power-locking connections and components, reducing maintenance time and effort.
Reliable Lubrication Under High Loads
This lubricant ensures reliable performance even under mixed-friction and high-load conditions owing to its highly effective, ageing-resistant solid lubricants.
Thermally Stable Protection
Offering protection up to 1200°C, the solid lubricants remain in the friction points to protect against tribocorrosion and fretting, significantly extending component life in extreme environments.
